Smw Internship programme FAQ

Who is it for?

The St Michael’s Internship Programme aims to identify, raise, and equip the next generation of Christian leaders, with a particular focus on young adults aged 18-30. Through a structured and intentional approach, the programme will integrate practical ministry experience, theological reflection, and supervised leadership development within the context of the local church.

How Much Does It Cost?

There is no cost for the internship programme itself. Interns will need to be self-funded to cover their own accommodation, travel to and from SMW, food etc. Throughout the year there will be opportunities to do additional training, seminars and special trips which will be funded through the programme itself.

We can talk through the options for funding that are available to you when you apply.

What does an Internship @SMW look like?

In partnership with the team at St Michael and All Angels Westcliff, the programme is a year to:

  • Grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus

  • Discover your calling and gifting through hands-on ministry experience

  • Serve wholeheartedly in the local church
